Been doing a lot of collaborative shoots with one of my friends Clint Padilla. We are trying some new techniques and trying to get a feel for them before heading to Hawaii during the middle of July.

What was suppose to be a gorgeous blue skied shoot on the beautiful beaches of Santa Barbara, CA… Turned into a June Gloom overcast day. In the end, I really liked the look as it was something a bit different and gave the shoot a much softer feel. Its almost more relaxing than a blazing sun.
Granted it was a bit chilly for Jennifer, but she pulled through and delivered.

Finally did a shoot that I have been wanting to do for quite some time. We had been hoping for clear skies and a beautiful sunset but the weather took on its own form and actually gave a really nice feel to the shoot. Plus the overcast light made lighting the car much easier. I can’t say we were going for a fully vintage look but it was more a vintage inspired shoot.
Thanks to the models Jennifer and David(also did some assistant work). David is by far one of the best guys to shoot because he is there to do whatever it takes to get the shot done. That holds true on any shoot I have done with him. And Jenn, thanks for pushing me to find the time to get this one done.
