Last session at Brooks, I did quite a few composites for assignments. Mostly because I wanted to go for a more surreal look for an assignment where we had to shoot a fragrance ad. The assignment required us to shoot a conceptual photo of a person that fit the theme of a particular fragrance.
As part of the assignment, I researched fragrances and built up concepts around the description…
I of course, do not have those for you today. They are filed away somewhere with the prints I presented in class.
Eitheway, enjoy.

This particular shot was for an assignment called “Fashion without Fabric.” Where we had to make some sort of clothing that didn’t use any sort of fabric. Because I am more skilled with photoshop than I am with well, physical things… I shot the model mostly nude and composited the material of my choosing to complete the shot.

I am happy to answer any questions about the process.
